8:00am, Friday 15th February

The group left Littleover a little later than planned.

4:10pm

Despite leaving 45mins late, we managed to catch an earlier ferry and are now in sunny France.

9:17am, Saturday

We've finally arrived safe and sound after a three hour delay due to traffic! The sun is shining on the lovely snow and everyone's keen to get on the slopes! Yey!

7:09am, Monday

Having a fantastic time. We had a meat fondue last night. That went down a treat, although I think that a lack of cooking skills was apparent in some of the fondue 'dippers'.

8:24pm, Tuesday

All skiers making excellent progress today! Everyone now merrily eating and joining in with the entertainment, including #Y-M-C-A#, #Y-M-C-A#...

4:26pm, Wednesday

We went on the gondolas today (Editor: I assume they mean the ski lift, no one told me about an outing to Venice, ha ha) with a quarter mile drop underneath us! Also, some of our group have skied the World Cup downhill, the Hahnenkamn run!

4:19pm, Friday

All skiers having their last meal as we prepare to leave. Everyone had a good time, but now very tired and looking forward to getting home.

8:31am, Saturday

Our overnight journey was good. We've just had a hearty breakfast and we're now leaving Dover for the last leg home.

A winter scene at Aschau.
