Trump and the wall

By: Heather and Chloe

Recently, US President Donald Trump has been scouting out his ‘dream’ wall. His specific requests have been challenging his workers and testing the builders to their limit.

A request that has been called ‘interesting’ is as follows, “I want my wall to be concrete and see-through”

Donald Trump has taken trips to see eight different designs but none are ‘to his standards’. The US President has held on to his election promise to build a wall along the California-Mexico border and went to the point of claiming on Tuesday: "If you don't have a wall system, you won't have a country".

I want my wall to be concrete and see through.

Mr Trump travelled to San Diego to speculate several possible wall types measuring 30ft-tall (9m), and enquired about which of them would be hardest to climb. He claimed that the wall would have to be see-through. He stated: "The ones that work the best aren't necessarily the most expensive, that's what I like."

Mr Trump has criticised California governor Jerry Brown, saying he was doing a "terrible" job. He also mentioned that he had a "great relationship" with the Mexican President, who, he said, was a good negotiator.

On the way to his personal viewing pf walls, President Trump tweeted: "California's sanctuary policies are illegal and unconstitutional and put the safety and security of our entire nation at risk. Thousands of dangerous & violent criminal aliens are released as a result of sanctuary policies, set free to prey on innocent Americans. THIS MUST STOP!"

This is an allegation against his recent quote, that he had a great relationship with the Mexican President.

People on both sides of this post are worried at what the future of their country hols. People around the world are waiting to see what President Trump will do next.
