In total there are 6 colours of iris. Did you know that people with lighter irises are more sensitive to the light? If you have more pigments in the iris you are less protected from the sunlight in comparison to people with less pigments in the iris. It has been proven that people with darker eye colours have faster reaction speeds.

Brown eyes Studies have shown that people with darker eyes are considered to be more trustworthy, are less likely to abuse alcohol. This is because their irises contain more melanin (a brown and black pigment) to shield the eye from blue light. Brown eyes one of the most common eye colours and people who have this hue are very independent, self-confident and determined.

Blue eyes People with blue eyes are historically perceived as more attractive and are viewed as more knowledgeable. In addition, official research points to them having a more calm and peaceful personalities.

Conclusion Your eye colour can affect both vision and personality. There is evidence that it can also affect your health and how attractive people perceive you as. Green eyes may be seen as the most desirable, but how you see the world and how it sees you is the most important.
