Our aim, in the English Department, is to engage students in both reading and writing. We do this through providing a stimulating variety of texts to read, designing interesting writing activities and providing opportunities to pursue an interest in English through extra-curricular activities. We have high expectations of our students which is reflected in the excellent results they achieve.
