What is a black-eyed child? A black-eyed child is an ‘urban legend’ of supposed paranormal creatures that resemble children between the ages of 6-16, with pale skin and black eyes, who are reported seen hitchhiking or are encounted on doorsteps of residential homes. They are sometimes called ‘bek’ which stands for black-eyed kids.

Why are they so different to us? Black is not a natural eye coloration. The white part of a human eye is called the sclera and it comprises 5/6 of the surface of the eye. Every healthy person, regardless of race has a white sclera. Animals on the other hand have a very dark sclera. Dogs, horses and lizards for example often have a black sclera. People with health problems can sometimes have sclera yellow and certain medication like eye drops can result in the sclera becoming transparent. People who have met black-eyed humans say these individuals have a solid black eyes with no sclera at all! In other words ‘these beings’ have scleras, pupils and iris’ that are completely black.

Black-eyed children- what do they do? Over the last 20 years people said that they have encounted black-eyed children and all of the stories sound the same. A child would come up to your door or your car window and will ask for help. The second they come up to you, you will feel scared and it will feel like they have power over you. They usually wear dark clothing or might wear a hooded sweatshirt and maybe they will be with a black-eyed friend/sibling. First , they ask for a request such as for something or to come in or maybe they wanted to call someone with their phone and if you say ‘no’ they will come back to you with threats such as‘ you have to let me in’ or they will say ‘please , I need to call someone’. People who have dealt with this have said they would start to help without them wanting to. For example they will start to open a door a little bit more or if they’re in a car they would roll down a window a little bit more. It’s almost as if the child/children are making them do it with their mind but the last second before they do anything the child/children would either lift their head up or take theirhood off and show there black-eyes. After they have seen the black-eyes they would slam the door shut or if they’re in a car they would roll the window up. Do you believe in the black-eyed children or do you think this is all fake?
