Karanka Sacked as Middlesbrough Manager after Three and a Half Years

Manager, players, cost of shirt for children, £48, absolute joke, oh, and free away travel, like Stoke.

Mr. Bowler

Aitor Karanka has been sacked as the Manager of Middlesbrough after a dire season leaving fans overflowing with boredom supporting the club with the lowest total goals in the league. This is joined by the fact that they are currently ranking at 19th.

Middlesbrough have had one of their worst seasons in ages with just 19 goals scored – the lowest total in the league. Fans are bored and miserable with the team’s performance and the board have seen this and blamed the manager.

Karanka has been the Manager of Boro since November 2013, arriving from the position of Assistant Manager of Real Madrid. In the relegation zone, one place from bottom, Middlesbrough need another three points to get away from the danger area. The club met with Karanka and following discussions, Boro said it was in their "best interests" to make the change.

When asked, a Middlesbrough fan, Mr Bowler said, “I’m in shock, we are in the bottom three [of the premier league]. His loyalty was always in question, when he walked out of the Riverside last season.”

On the topic of a new manager, the fan said , "Can we have Ranieri?"

Boro haven’t won in their last 10 Premier League matches leaving promoted Assistant Coach Steve Agnew in charge for the next game at least. However, managers such as Nigel Pearson, Alan Pardew and Claudio Ranieri, recently sacked from Leicester, are all possibilities for the role.

There is debate between Middlesbrough fans over whether this is the correct decision or not, but either way the team seriously need to improve to stay in the Premier League.
