After two years of pure love and happiness, Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik have confirmed their break up. It has been confirmed through Twitter and Instagram. ‘I’m grateful to all our fans for respecting this difficult decision and our privacy at this time’, Zayn explains in his tweet. Ten minutes after he had posted, Gigi posted her response “I want nothing but the best for him and will continue to support him as a friend”

Only months ago, Zayn had Gigi’s eyes tattooed onto his chest. With his previous fianceé, Perrie Edwards, he also had a cartoon image of her tattooed onto his arm. He quickly regretted this once they split up, obviously he didn’t learn from his mistakes.

Many fans are disheartened over the couples split. Others are complaining that Zayn wrote about him splitting with Hadid and apologised for it but he didn’t write anything when he split from One Direction. Zayn received a lot of negative back lash for not going public about leaving one direction in late march 2015 and now he’s back in the news, all the bad press is coming back as the couple only went public about the break up on 13th March and, Zayn has already unfollowed Hadid on Instagram.

Gigi has said that she is open for things to happen in the future but at the minute, she is happy and has made the right decision. So who knows what the future will hold?
