			100 Years since WW1

As it has been 100 years since ‘The war to end all wars’ has finished and we decided to ask the British public what their thoughts on the subject were.

Seven out of eight people knew it was 100 years since World War 1. Six out of eight people had families that they know of that were in some way involved in a World war either in combat or technological sides of the wars. We also asked these people how they will remember the heroes of the war and celebrate that we won the war. Many of them said that they would take a minutes silence and wear a poppy as well as donate to the Royal British Legion.

Also we asked if they thought we needed the war. Many thought that because of the situation we did have to go to war but it would have been better if we could have compromised in some way.

Hopefully in the future there won’t be any or such brutal wars especially with nuclear weapons and hopefully the world can become a better place where things like war aren’t a threat.
