Derby County are pulling out all the stops to get a full house for this weekend’s promotion push match. The rams face Cardiff in a top of the table clash but neither the manager nor the players are openly talking about promotion.

Right now Derby County FC are in 5th in the Championships and they hope to win their next game on Sunday against Cardiff, currently in second place. Cardiff are unbeaten in eleven games.

To aid their chances, they are holding a Sunday fun-day where the tickets are only £10 each. The club are calling for support from families and fans. They want a great atmosphere.

Colin Gibson knows it is an uphill battle. He said ‘there has been quite a bit of frustration is running through the club because there has not been that many wins recently. They still have confidence though because they have not lost too many and have what it takes.

But he said a win is within their grasp.

‘The players have the experience to get into the Premier League and they have the right players to do well'.

‘We have got experience with Tom Huddlestone and Curtis Davis and going up is absolutely what they want’.

Gary Rowett has confidence that they have what it takes to finish in the top 6 but he doesn’t speak openly about it; the players don’t talk about it either. All the players want to play in the top tier and are trying their hardest to get their goal
