Ahsoka Tano Blasting on to our Screens
The new Ahsoka Tano is coming soon to Disney+, and here’s what you need to know.
People had theorised for a while, before she had debuted in Disney’s The Mandolorian, that a new Ahsoka series would be coming out soon, and people had been wanting that, as many people believe that Disney’s new trilogy wasn’t right, to almost fix it. Aside from helping The Mando better understand his young companion, his past, and potential future, the ongoing Star Wars show also revealed that the former Jedi is on the hunt for Thrawn who jumped to hyperspace with Ezra at the end of Star Wars Rebels.
The show will be set at around the same time as The Mandolorian, and is a small spin-off to that series, as is The Book Of Boba Fett. So far though, the only other confirmed detail is Rosario Dawson is being cast as Ahsoka, however due to her ties with the Rebels, the series might include live action counterparts of Ezra Bridger and Sabine Wren.
When Tano made her live-action debut in "Chapter 13: The Jedi" in The Mandalorian Season Two, she became a character that could be the focus of a Mandalorian spin-off, and the series was officially announced by Lucasfilm CEO Kathleen Kennedy.
We still have a lot more info that hasn’t been released yet, but when we do we will let you know.
