Could Cristiano Ronaldo finish his career at Manchester United?

Cristiano Ronaldo is known for being the best forward striker and world-class winger and he has played for some of the biggest clubs in the world, including Manchester United. It is rumoured that he might return as he approaches the end of his career.

Ronaldo gives high respect and credit to his former manager Sir Alex Ferguson whom he played under. Ronaldo feels a father-son bond with Ferguson and reportedly sent recorded video message to Ferguson on 60th edition BBC Sports Personality Diamond Award, “You were like a football father to me…You deserve this award because you are a fantastic manager, a fantastic person and the number one.”

Cristiano Ronaldo continuous to show his interest, love and passion for Manchester United. He often asks his colleagues with keen to know the latest development of his former club. Ronaldo said, “I always wanted to play for this team and it doesn’t matter who can talk about it -bad or good. I will come. “It was my dream to play in the Premier League. I have the choice to come to Manchester United and it was two dreams in one. It was perfect”.

Ronaldo is now 36 years old. He started his career at 18 years old at Old Trafford, Manchester United in 2003 from Sporting CP. He won three Premier League tiles and the Champion League during his time with United. Then he joined Read Madrid in 2009 because his lifelong dream was to play for Real Madrid in the famous white shirt. In 2018, he went to Juventus on a four years contract ending in June 2022.
With his contract coming up to renewal, there is the possibility that Ronaldo will come back to United to where it all began.
