Our Careers Programme at Littleover

At Littleover, we recognise the value of high-quality careers education in raising aspirations, challenging stereotypes, and supporting informed decisions. Our programme runs from Year 7 through to Year 13 and includes PSHE lessons, the Sixth Form tutor programme, careers-focused events, employer encounters, and tailored visits.

We work closely with parents and carers, offering information evenings from Year 9 onwards to help families navigate key transitions and post-16 or post-18 options. Events are shared through the school’s ParentPay email system.

The careers curriculum is led by the PSHE and Careers Co-ordinator and supported by a non-teaching Careers Lead, guided by the Gatsby Benchmarks. We have proudly held the national Careers Mark Award since 2003, reflecting our ongoing commitment to high standards in careers education.
