Pastoral Support Mentor

Job purpose: The Pastoral Support Assistant will provide targeted pastoral, emotional, and mentoring support to students who face barriers to learning, with a particular focus on Looked After Children (LAC) and previously Looked After Children (pLAC). Working under the direction of the Pastoral Support Manager, the postholder will support individual and small groups of students to improve engagement, wellbeing, behaviour, and attendance.

Salary (FTE): Grade F SCP 15 - 20 £30,024 - £32,597

Salary (Actual): Grade F SCP 15 - 20 £25,796 - £28,160

Hours: 37 hours per week Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 4.00pm Friday 8.00am - 3.30pm (half an hour unpaid lunch each day)

Contract: Permanent Term Time Only (39 weeks, including Inset days)
