The Religious Education Department deliver a diverse programme at Key Stage 3, 4 and 5.
The subject is taught separately in Years 7-9 and is optional at GCSE and A Level.
Our courses cover topics from a range of religions and religious concepts. The subject is a popular option choice at GCSE and A-level where the students enjoy high achievement.
Right to Withdraw from Religious Education (RE)
Religious Education (RE) is a compulsory part of the curriculum for all pupils. However, parents/carers have the legal right to request that their child is withdrawn from all or part of RE lessons. Parents/carers wishing to exercise this right should contact the school to discuss the arrangements.
