• Is able to work independently but also effectively as part of a team.
• Is able to oversee the Careers Library at lunchtime and assist students.

Student Services Manager/SIMS Manager

We are seeking to appoint a reliable and enthusiastic individual, able to use their own initiative but also able to work well as part of a team.

Duties will include:

• To manage and support staff within the Student Services Office.
• To be responsible for the maintenance of student and staff records on SIMS and the school’s Academic Database system.
• To be responsible for maintaining accurate student attendance records and provide weekly and termly attendance reports, including completing statistical returns.
• To be responsible for the management of assessment data, including the collation of internal and external assessment information.
• To oversee and implement legal compliance with data protection issues in relation to SIMS and Go4Schools.

The essential requirements are:
• Minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent at Grade C or above, including English and Maths.
• A working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Excel and Word with excellent keyboard skills.
• Proven experience in the use of SIMS (School Information Management System).
• To hold or train for a First Aid at Work Certificate.

Relief Exam Invigilator

Relief
(11th May – 26th June, 2020)
Exam Sessions


We are looking for Relief Exam Invigilators to cover the exam period from 11th May – 26th June, 2020. The hourly rate would be approximately £9.80.

The hours would be:
Morning exam : 8.00 am onwards
Mid-morning exam : 11.00 am onwards
Afternoon exams : 1.00 pm onwards

The hours worked would be variable between the above dates, depending on the length of exams and the number of invigilators required. Invigilators may be needed for just one session a day, or all day, sometimes every day of the week or just a couple of times a week. All successful applicants will be subject to an Enhanced DBS (Police) check and will be expected to attend a training session prior to starting.

The duties would involve:

• Setting up exams
• Collection of exam papers
• Helping towards the smooth running of exams
• Adhering to exam regulations
