We are seeking an experienced Cover Administrator to co-ordinate teaching staff absence and supply cover on a daily basis.

The post will also involve assisting with arrangements for timetabling and rooming all external and internal examinations and planning and organising cover/room changes for school visits, events and other activities.

The post also includes other administrative work, as and when required, for the Senior Management Team.

This temporary post is due to run from 8th April, 2019, until approximately, 14th February, 2020. As this is a maternity cover, the end date may be liable to change.

The candidate must be well organised, methodical and able to prioritise workload. They should be an excellent communicator and experience of working in a similar role would be desirable.

Experience in the use of SIMS (Schools Information Management System), would also be beneficial.

Assistant Safeguarding Officer/Deputy DSL

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, Assistant Safeguarding Officer/Deputy DSL. The successful candidate will contribute to Safeguarding and Child Protection across the school.

We are looking for a candidate who:

• has a proven track record of Safeguarding and Child Protection work;
• has excellent organisational and leadership skills;
• has experience of developing and delivering Safeguarding training, as appropriate;
• has the capacity to contribute to the Emotionally Healthy Schools initiative and the psychological wellbeing of students in the school;
• has excellent interpersonal skills needed to develop positive and supportive professional relationships with students, parents, external agencies and the wider community;
• has a working knowledge and understanding of current and national issues in relation to Safeguarding and Child Protection;
• has the ability to analyse problems, reach considered judgements, resolve issues and delegate effectively, when required.

Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking to appoint reliable and enthusiastic individuals, able to use their own initiative but also able to work well as part of a team. The persons appointed will need to be flexible, well organised and professional and have the ability to communicate with staff and students at all levels.

Post 1: 22.5 hours per week : 10.00-15.00 (with ½ hour break)
Post 2: 12.5 hours per week : 12.30-15.00


Duties include:

1. To undertake the basic preparation of food and beverages including the preparation of vegetables and snacks and to provide support in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages.
2. The transferring and serving of meals.
3. General kitchen and dining room duties including washing up, setting up and clearing away equipment and tables, cleaning of the kitchen and dining room surrounds and equipment to include all work surfaces, dining furniture, floors and walls.
4. To undertake Health & Safety and Food Hygiene Training as and when required.
