Vocational Pathway

Vocational pathways are ideal for students who prefer a more practical approach to learning. These courses focus on developing specific skills for a particular career or industry, rather than studying a range of academic subjects.

Students usually study one main subject or area at a college or training provider, working towards qualifications such as T Levels, BTECs, NVQs or Diplomas. Subjects often include construction, catering, hair and beauty, business, and health and social care.

Courses are available at different levels, from Level 1 to Level 3, with entry requirements varying depending on the qualification. T Levels are offered at Level 3 and therefore require higher GCSE grades.
