This is the best way to get a real sense of life at LCS - meet staff and students, tour our site, and see the subjects, facilities and extra-curricular life that make our school special.

What to expect on the evening
Welcome talks. We will give a short welcome and outline the school’s ethos and priorities; talks will be given at regular intervals throughout the evening so families can attend at a time that suits them.
Guided tours. Student ambassadors and staff will lead tours of classrooms, specialist teaching areas and key facilities so you can see learning in action.
Subject showcases and demonstrations. Departments will be running displays and hands-on activities to showcase what pupils study in English, maths, science, languages, arts, technology, sport and more.
Pastoral, SEND and transition information. There will be opportunities to speak with pastoral staff and our SEND team about support, transition arrangements and any individual needs. We run a range of SEND provision and pre-start meet & greet sessions for particular students, and staff will be available to answer questions on the evening.
Admissions and Year 7 transition guidance. Staff will be available to explain the admissions process, catchment details and how we support pupils moving from primary to secondary.
Practical information
Parking & travel: On-site parking is available, but limited. Where possible please arrive on foot or car-share to ease congestion. Signage and stewards will help on arrival.
Accessibility: The school provides disabled parking and basic wheelchair access to the main school buildings; please note the site is sloping and not every area has lift access. If you have specific access requirements, contact the school in advance so we can assist.
Health & safety: The site team and staff will be on hand to ensure a safe and well-organised evening. Please follow any directions from staff and stewards for routes and meeting points.
